Leviton light switch pairing mode. My smartthings app found it almost immediately after doing that. The locator led is used to show the current state of the load. 2 the harmony hub extender is indeed compatible with the dzmx1 and will directly control it without any other devices.

The info you posted from smartthings got me going in the right direction. Push the switch back in and hold the bottom paddle it only has a bottom paddle until the light turns amber. The operation of the led can be changed.

I did have the instruction sheet from leviton but that only has instructions for resetting it not putting it into pairing mode. 1 you need to start pairing from the air gap position then push down and hold until it turns amber it will then be in pairing mode. After turning off on the breaker and getting the light to turn amber i did get the switch be included into the system.

Leviton decora smarttm z wave devices have a locator led on the bottom of the paddle. Led on when the load is on. When pairing your leviton devices press and hold the control button until the light begins flashing amber.

Then release the switch. The three way switch is a variation of the standard single pole switch which controls a light only from one location. When pairing your leviton devices press and hold the control button until the light begins flashing amber.

Enter programming mode by holding the top of the paddle for 7 seconds the locator led will turn amber.
