I had the same problem.
Leviton motion sensor light switch not working. Most of my switches have the bx cable coming in. Your motion sensor lights should work some of the time not just on certain occasions. After working flawlessly for a couple of years the occupancy switch in the laundry room started malfunctioning all of a sudden the light turning on without any motion in the room all the time a few minutes after turning it off manually.
If the sensor cannot turn the lights on manually then i believe there may be a wiring issue. But the leviton directions diagram also show a red wire. Then put on the light and your leviton light would have automatically reset.
The clicking is most likely the sound of the relay closing which should then be passing the current further down the circuit to the lights fan. As far as wall switch sensors the following that require a connection to neutral and do work with led lighting. Light would not turn on from motion but the sensor seemed to be working per the flashing green led.

This seemed to work for me. These lights are designed to go off after movement has ceased generally within 30 to 60 seconds. I actually returned the 1st unit and swapped it out for a second because i assumed it was a faulty unit.
